Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Keyboard and Piano Teacher. The teacher will deliver live online lessons to students of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on piano performance, keyboard techniques, and foundational music theory. Daily responsibilities include planning lesson content, selecting appropriate repertoire, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role also involves communicating regularly with students and families about learning goals, maintaining organized records of lessons, and adapting teaching approaches to accommodate different learning styles. The teacher is expected to create a supportive, inclusive,



and engaging online environment that encourages long-term musical development. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Piano Playing and Keyboard performance skills, with the ability to demonstrate techniques clearly in an online setting.
• Candidates should possess Piano Education and Music Education experience, including planning structured lessons and guiding students through progressive skill development.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Music Theory and its application to piano and keyboard instruction.
• Prior experience teaching in an online or remote environment, with reliable technology setup (computer, webcam, audio equipment, and stable internet connection).
• Ability to communicate clearly and patiently with learners of different ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.
• Solid organizational skills for scheduling, lesson planning, and documenting student progress.
• Formal training in music (degree, diploma, or equivalent certification) is preferred but not required if substantial teaching experience is demonstrated.
• Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory teaching practices and a positive, learner-centered approach.
