Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, and database objects ✅ Analyze execution plans, Query Store, blocking, waits, memory grants, parallelism, CPU, I/O, tempdb usage, and transaction logs to resolve performance bottlenecks ✅ Tune high-volume transactional, compliance, reporting, and batch-processing workloads ✅ Design scalable database architectures, data models, indexing strategies, and replication solutions ✅ Support SQL Server upgrades, performance testing, regression validation, and production troubleshooting ✅ Manage High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), replication, backup/restore, monitoring, and maintenance operations ✅ Collaborate with Application, QA, SRE, Infrastructure, and Vendor teams to resolve production incidents ✅ Drive modernization initiatives involving Azure SQL, cloud migration, and data platform transformation ✅ Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, and documentation Required
