Role Description The Deputy Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kottayam. The Deputy Manager will support overall plant operations, coordinate production activities, and help ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Daily responsibilities include supervising teams, monitoring workflow and productivity, tracking inventory and materials, and assisting in planning and scheduling. The role will also involve collaborating with senior management on process improvements, cost optimization, and export order management, as well as preparing reports and maintaining documentation. This position requires regular cross-functional communication with production, maintenance,



quality assurance, and logistics to keep operations efficient and aligned with business goals. Qualifications
• Operational and leadership skills, including team supervision, workflow coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Production and quality management skills, such as basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control practices, and safety and environmental compliance.
• Planning and organizational skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, documentation, and report preparation.
• Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify operational issues, propose improvements, and support cost-effective production.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, preferably in rubber or related industries, and familiarity with export-oriented operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, production management, business administration, or a related field.
• Comfort working on-site in an industrial environment and willingness to adhere to all safety and compliance requirements.
