Role Description The Senior Account Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for leading key client accounts and ensuring strategic, high-quality delivery across all communications initiatives. This role involves overseeing day-to-day account management, building solid client relationships, and serving as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders. The Senior Account Director will guide integrated communication strategies, coordinate project timelines, and ensure consistent alignment with client business objectives. Core responsibilities include mentoring and managing account teams, reviewing and refining proposals and pitches, overseeing project execution, and collaborating with cross-functional creative and content teams.



The role also includes identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts, contributing to new business development, and ensuring that all work reflects Kommune’s standards of excellence and integrity. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills, including client relationship building, strategic counsel, and oversight of multi-brand or multi-sector portfolios.
• Candidates should possess Team Management and Team Leadership capabilities, including mentoring, performance management, and creating a collaborative, inclusive team culture.
• Candidates should possess Sales and business development skills, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and participation in pitches and presentations.
• Candidates should possess Project Management expertise, including planning, execution oversight, resource coordination, and on-time delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Significant experience in brand communications, public relations, or integrated marketing within an agency or consulting environment.
• Proven track record of managing senior client relationships and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an advantage.
