Role Description The Admission Counselor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Admission Counselor will engage with prospective families and students, provide detailed information about UIS programmes and campus, and guide them through the entire admission process from inquiry to enrollment. Daily responsibilities include responding to phone, email and walk-in inquiries, conducting campus tours, organizing and participating in admission events, and maintaining accurate records in admission systems.



The role involves explaining academic and co-curricular offerings, clarifying admission criteria and timelines, and supporting applicants with documentation and follow-up communication. The Admission Counselor will collaborate closely with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth, welcoming and skilled experience for all prospective learners. Qualifications
• Solid Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents and colleagues.
• Customer Service and Sales abilities to build trust, handle inquiries, address concerns and support conversion from prospect to enrollment.
• Understanding of Education systems, preferably CBSE or similar, and interest in holistic, experiential learning environments.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, CRM or admission management systems, and accurate data entry and documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, marketing or communications is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple inquiries and deadlines.
• Professional, empathetic and student-centered approach, with the ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in regional languages (such as Hindi or Gujarati) is beneficial.
