As Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, you will lead senior and leadership hiring across Refyne Group: CXO, business heads and specialist leaders across finance, legal, compliance, governance and capital markets. You will partner directly with founders and the CXO team, run confidential searches end to end, and act as the trusted advisor in every hiring decision at the top of the house. This is a player-coach role. You will close the hardest searches yourself, and you will build and mentor the TA team so it can run at your standard without you in every loop. How You'll Make an Impact: Leadership & CXO Hiring
• Own end-to-end search for CXO, business head and senior specialist roles across Refyne Group entities, from role calibration to offer close.
• Lead hiring for finance and governance leadership, finance control, treasury and capital raising, legal, compliance and company secretarial, where regulatory depth and judgment matter as much as pedigree.
• Run confidential and replacement searches with discretion, managing sensitive stakeholder and candidate communication.
• Map talent across fintech, NBFCs, banks, insurance and Big 4 to build warm leadership pipelines before roles open. Founder & CXO Partnership
• Work directly with founders and CXOs to turn a business problem into a sharp role brief: mandate, success in 12 months, must-haves vs. trainables.
• Bring a point of view on market availability, compensation benchmarks and trade-offs; push back when the brief or the bar is wrong.
• Pitch Refyne to senior candidates with credibility, and handle complex negotiations across CTC, ESOPs, joining bonuses and notice buyouts. Strategy & Process
• Build the leadership hiring playbook: structured interview loops, assessment design, case or presentation rounds,



and reference and background checks for senior roles.
• Own search partner strategy: select, brief and manage executive search firms on cost, quality and speed.
• Track and report leadership hiring metrics (time to close, offer acceptance, quality of hire, 12-month retention) to the Chief of Staff and founders.
• Raise the employer brand with senior talent through targeted outreach, leadership networks and industry forums. Strategy & Process
• Mentor and coach the TA team on sourcing depth, stakeholder management and closing; review their pipelines and unblock them.
• Set the example as an IC: take the toughest searches, show how they are run, and turn those lessons into team practice.
• Diagnose what is breaking in hiring, funnel, process or brief and solve it with the team, not around it. What Makes You a Great Fit
• 10–14 years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years focused on senior and leadership hiring (VP, CXO and board-adjacent roles).
• A track record of closing leadership roles in finance, legal, compliance or governance
• Comfortable in the room with founders and CXOs: you advise, challenge and close, not just coordinate.
• Deep networks and sourcing craft for passive senior talent, plus experience managing executive search partners.
• Solid command of senior compensation: benchmarking, ESOPs, variable pay and negotiation.
• Experience leading or mentoring a recruiting team, while still carrying an IC hiring load. Good to have
• Experience in fintech, NBFCs, banking, insurance or financial services, or hiring for them from a search firm.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (RBI, IRDAI, SEBI) and the fit-and-proper expectations they place on senior hires.
• Multi-entity or group-level hiring experience.
