Role Description The Chemist role is a full-time, on-site position based at Benzo Chem’s facility in Bharuch. The Chemist will perform routine and specialized laboratory work, including sample preparation, testing, and analysis in support of production, quality, and R&D; activities. Responsibilities include conducting chemical experiments, optimizing formulations and processes, interpreting analytical data, and documenting results in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.



The role involves collaborating with production, quality assurance, and R&D; teams to troubleshoot issues, improve yields, and maintain product consistency. The Chemist will also ensure adherence to safety standards, positive laboratory practices, and environmental guidelines while operating laboratory instruments and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including sample handling, preparation, and use of standard lab equipment and instruments.
• Candidates should possess quality control skills, including familiarity with testing procedures, documentation, and compliance with quality standards.
• Candidates should possess analytical skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and use of analytical techniques and methods.
• Candidates should possess research and development (R&D;) and research skills, including experimental design, process improvement, and reporting of findings.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience in specialty chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or agrochemicals manufacturing is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
