Role Description The Purchasing Representative is a full time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. In this position, the individual is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, including creating and tracking purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Daily tasks include evaluating vendor quotations, supporting contract negotiations, and maintaining accurate procurement records in line with company policies. The role involves collaborating closely with production, inventory,



and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with demand forecasts and budget guidelines. The Purchasing Representative also addresses supplier and internal stakeholder queries, supports continuous cost optimization, and contributes to maintaining quality and compliance standards. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Purchasing and Procurement, with experience in managing vendor relationships and sourcing materials.
• Proficiency in handling Purchase Orders, creation, review, tracking, and documentation.
• Experience with Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms.
• Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of basic supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata Area.
• Strong attention to detail and competence with MS Office or similar business software.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is an advantage.
