We are currently expanding our manufacturing capabilities and looking for a hands-on Workshop Supervisor to oversee our fabrication workshop and site execution in Pune. Job Purpose: To lead day-to-day workshop operations, production planning, structural and process equipment fabrication, welder/fitter allocation, quality fit-up inspections, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities
• Fabrication & Assembly Management: Oversee end-to-end fabrication of MS/SS tanks, pressure vessels, structural steelwork, skid piping, and process equipment assembly.
• Production Planning & Execution: Prepare daily production schedules, assign tasks to fitters, welders, grinders, and helpers, and ensure targets are met on time.
• Quality & Engineering Interpretation:



Read and interpret GA (General Arrangement) engineering drawings, structural layouts, and P&IDs.; Perform fit-up checks and weld quality inspections (SMAW, MIG/MAG, TIG).
• Resource & Material Management: Track raw material consumption, minimize scrap/rework, and maintain inventory traceability for production jobs.
• Safety & Housekeeping: Enforce strict workshop safety protocols, personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, and 5S housekeeping standards. Required Qualifications &

Education:
• ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Fabrication Technology. Experience Required:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in workshop supervision, structural/vessel fabrication, process equipment manufacturing, or piping assembly. Key Technical Skills & Competencies:
• Strong drawing reading skills (GA drawings, fabrication details, P&IDs;).
• Practical knowledge of SMAW, MIG/MAG, and TIG welding techniques and fit-up standards.
• Proven ability to manage workshop manpower (welders, fitters, fabricators) effectively.
