Experience:
12 to 18 Yrs of experience At Straive, we are seeking a hands-on technology leader and senior technical authority to drive our enterprise Data Engineering, Data Modernization, and Cloud Analytics Solutions. What You’ll Do
• Drive Architecture & Production Engineering: Set engineering standards, conduct code/design reviews (PySpark, SQL), and ensure production-grade reliability across petabyte-scale platforms.
• Optimize Data Economics & FinOps: Architect up-to-date Data Lakehouses (AWS, Azure, GCP) and optimize compute/storage costs across Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and Synapse.
• Establish DataOps & Reusable Assets: Build reusable ETL/ELT frameworks, DataOps CI/CD pipelines, and IaC (Terraform) to accelerate delivery.
• Lead & Mentor: Mentor senior technical leads and foster a culture of Data Reliability Engineering (DRE).
• Executive & Client Advisory:
Partner with practice leaders on RFPs, technical strategy, and advise client CIOs, CTOs, and CDOs. Who You Are
• 12–18+ years of software & data engineering experience, with 8+ years leading data platform architecture.
• Hands-on Expertise: Proficient in Python, PySpark, SQL, Scala/Java with strong architecture experience.
• Core Tech Stack: Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/Azure/GCP, dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Kafka/Flink, Terraform, and Data Quality/Observability tools.
• Proven Impact: Track record of deploying petabyte-scale batch/streaming systems and driving FinOps cost efficiencies. ?
