Most homes in India are still built by hand, on site, one brick at a time. We build them in a factory: each room is a steel-framed module, finished inside, then trucked to site and stacked. The dream is to build whole buildings the way you'd build a car. One day, towers. Next year we make our first six modules and stack them into a two-storey block. Our first real building. We're a small team, and most of what it takes doesn't exist yet. THE MACHINE Our first factory plan was a normal assembly line. It needed a long shed, a lot of people, and the know-how lived in their heads. So we turned it around: in the Jigcell, the module stays still and the work comes to it. THE JOB
• Make the Jigcell move: choose the motors and drives, keep everything level and in line, and add the safety stops and the controller that runs it all
• Measure every module that comes off it and time every step. Find what slows us down and fix it
• We also want to automate the plumbing and electrical work. Plan how the Jigcell lays out wiring and pipes, and test every run before the walls close
• Connect our software, which turns a floor plan into modules, prices the materials and writes the drawings and machine files, to the Jigcell, so a design goes straight from the screen to the machine
• Each time someone has to adjust a part by hand, write it down.
That list tells us what to automate next You'll work with Yash (https://www.linkedin.com/in/yash-tak-20881b103/), who runs the Jigcell, and with the mechanical design engineer, who designs what you make move. When we build the second Jigcell, you lead your side of it. YOU'VE PROBABLY
• Spent 3–6 years setting up real machines on a factory floor
• Worked with PLCs, motor drives and sensors
• Used cameras or laser measuring kit
• Timed a production line and made it faster PAY AND START
• ₹8–10 lakh a year (CTC) + shares, vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff. The less cash you take, the more shares you get
• Salary is for your first 12 months; after that we review it based on your performance
• Remote to start. When our factory opens, you relocate there
• Starts 1 December 2026 HOW WE HIRE 1. Email a paragraph about yourself 2. A short call 3. A design task at home, about four hours. The work stays yours 4. A video call with David (https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-john-varghese/) and Yash, where you walk us through it
