Description We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform technologies. This customer-facing role combines solution architecture, technical leadership, pre-sales support, and delivery oversight. Responsibilities
• Lead architecture workshops and stakeholder discussions
• Design end-to-end Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions
• Define data governance frameworks using Microsoft Purview
• Guide and mentor data engineering teams
• Support pre-sales activities, solution design, and proposal development
• Advise customers on data platform modernization and migration strategies
• Develop reusable architectures, standards, and accelerators
• Drive knowledge sharing and capability development Requirements
• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data platform architecture
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake,
Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms
• Strong knowledge of OneLake, Fabric Lakehouse, Fabric Warehouse, Spark Notebooks, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and T-SQL
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in consulting or qualified services environments
• Strong understanding of Power BI semantic models and enterprise BI solutions
• Experience leading technical teams and driving successful project delivery
• Microsoft Azure/Fabric certifications, Microsoft Purview experience, regulated industry exposure, and familiarity with dbt or modern data integration tools are preferred
