About the Role
Gurukul The School is looking for a passionate, academically strong, technology-enabled, and student-centric PRT English / Primary English Teacher to join its academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of English, excellent spoken and written communication skills, sound knowledge of primary pedagogy, and the ability to create an engaging, joyful, and structured learning environment for young learners. The role requires an educator who can develop strong foundational language skills, integrate technology meaningfully into classroom teaching, manage diverse learning needs, and build a positive emotional connect with children. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) 1. Teaching & Academic Excellence
• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for primary learners.
• Develop students' foundational skills in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension.
• Use age-appropriate, activity-based, experiential, and competency-based teaching methodologies.
• Design differentiated learning experiences based on students' abilities and learning needs.
• Maintain high academic standards and continuously monitor student progress. 2. Classroom Management & Student Engagement
• Create a safe, inclusive, positive, and well-managed classroom environment.
• Build strong rapport and emotional connect with students.
• Encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity, communication, and independent thinking.
• Manage classroom routines and student behaviour through positive and age-appropriate strategies. 3. Technology Integration & Digital Teaching
• Effectively use Google Workspace for Education and Google Classroom for teaching, assignments, communication, collaboration, and academic documentation.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of AI-enabled features within Google Workspace and other relevant AI-powered educational tools.
• Integrate smart classroom tools, digital learning resources, multimedia, and interactive technology appropriately.




• Use digital assessments and technology-enabled resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
• Demonstrate willingness to continuously learn and adopt emerging educational technologies. 4. Assessment & Learning Support
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments.
• Identify learning gaps and provide appropriate remedial and enrichment support.
• Maintain accurate student records, portfolios, assessment data, and academic documentation.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support continuous improvement. 5. Parent Communication & Collaboration
• Maintain professional and effective communication with parents regarding student progress and development.
• Participate actively in PTMs, academic meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with coordinators and fellow teachers to ensure holistic student development. 6. Professional & Institutional Responsibilities
• Contribute to academic planning, school projects, assemblies, celebrations, clubs, and institutional initiatives.
• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, punctuality, and ownership of responsibilities.
• Uphold the school's academic standards, policies, values, and professional expectations. Required Skills & Competencies

• High level of ownership, responsibility, and adaptability Educational Qualification & Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate in English or a relevant discipline
• B.
Ed. / equivalent recognised teacher education qualification preferred
• 2–6 years of relevant primary teaching experience preferred
• Experience in a reputed CBSE school preferred
• Strong academic background with consistent academic performance
• Exposure to NEP 2020, competency-based education, experiential learning, and foundational literacy will be an advantage Academic Background Candidates with a strong and consistent academic record will be preferred. Regular/full-time qualifications from recognised institutions are expected; correspondence, distance-learning, or non-regular degrees will not be considered for this position. Candidates who have completed their schooling from reputed public schools or established institutions may be given preference, particularly where this reflects strong communication skills, professional exposure, and familiarity with structured school environments.
