– UI/UX Designer

Grade: C9 – User-Centred Design & Experience Role Summary We are looking for a robust UI/UX Designer who can transform user needs into intuitive, user-centric digital experiences. The ideal candidate should have expertise across the end-to-end design lifecycle, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing. Proficiency in modern design tools and design systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities
• User Research: Conduct interviews, surveys, and contextual enquiries to understand user goals, behaviours, and pain points.
• Information Architecture: Define user journeys, task flows, and information architecture for easy navigation.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and clickable mock-ups to validate concepts.
• Visual Design: Develop clean, consistent, and visually appealing interfaces aligned with brand guidelines.
• Design Systems: Maintain reusable components, patterns, and style guides.
• Usability Testing: Conduct usability tests and improve designs based on feedback and findings.
• Accessibility:



Follow accessibility standards such as WCAG and inclusive design principles.
• Responsive Design: Create experiences that work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Collaboration & Handoff: Work with product, business, and engineering teams to provide design specifications, assets, and implementation support. Skills & Experience
• Hands-on experience across user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing.
• Proficiency in Figma; experience with Sketch or Adobe XD is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design.
• Experience with responsive design principles and device breakpoints.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development constraints.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Success Measures
