Role Description The F&B; Service Captain is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role is responsible for supervising the food and beverage service team, ensuring smooth operations during shifts, and maintaining high service standards in all guest-facing areas. Day-to-day tasks include briefing and guiding service staff, coordinating table assignments, overseeing order taking and service, and resolving guest queries or concerns promptly and professionally. The F&B; Service Captain monitors cleanliness, presentation, and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols, while supporting training and coaching of team members.



The role also involves close coordination with the kitchen and management to ensure timely service, accurate billing, and a positive guest experience. Qualifications
• Strong supervisory skills with experience leading F&B; or hospitality service teams.
• Proven ability to maintain and uphold service standards in a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment.
• Hands-on experience in food service operations, including order taking, table service, and coordination with kitchen staff.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and skilled complaint handling.
• Clear and confident communication skills for interacting with guests and coordinating with colleagues.
• Knowledge of basic F&B; hygiene, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Prior experience as a team leader, captain, or senior steward in F&B; service is preferred.
• Diploma or certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
