Interested candidates, kindly mail to [email protected] Job Purpose: Drive effective environmental management, monitoring and compliance for coal gasification projects by ensuring regulatory adherence, environmental risk control and implementation of mitigation measures across project and operational sites.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement and manage environmental compliance programmers in line with statutory requirements, approvals and consent conditions.
• Execute environmental monitoring plans covering air emissions, groundwater, surface water, wastewater, soil and waste streams.
• Support preparation, implementation and tracking of Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and site-specific mitigation measures.
• Coordinate environmental data collection, analysis and reporting to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor groundwater protection measures, wastewater handling and effluent treatment systems relevant to gasification operations.




• Support environmental risk assessments and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project, operations, HSE and regulatory teams on environmental compliance and site issues.
• Support environmental audits, inspections and closure of non-compliances.
• Maintain accurate environmental records, registers and documentation for audit readiness. Qualifications &

Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Chemical Engineering; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 8-12 years of relevant experience in environmental management within energy, mining, chemicals or high-hazard industrial projects.
• Strong working knowledge of environmental regulations, consent conditions and compliance reporting.
• Experience with environmental monitoring programmers, data analysis and regulatory coordination.
• Positive documentation, analytical and stakeholder coordination skills.
