About the Role
RIT Institute of Technology is seeking a creative and technically proficient Video Editor with 2–3 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of professional video editing software and the ability to produce high-quality video content for institutional promotions, social media platforms, events, and digital marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
· Edit and produce high-quality videos for promotional activities, institutional events, social media, and digital platforms.
· Create engaging visual content using professional editing techniques, transitions, effects, and animations.
· Perform colour correction, colour grading, audio editing, and sound enhancement.
· Incorporate graphics, subtitles, background music, and voiceovers as required.
· Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver content within deadlines.
· Maintain consistent video quality and ensure adherence to the organization's branding standards.
· Stay updated with the latest video editing tools, software, and industry trends. Educational Qualifications




· Bachelor's degree or diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Film Editing, Animation, Digital Media, or a related discipline.
· Candidates with relevant qualified experience and strong technical expertise may also be considered. Required Technical Skills
· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
· Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve.
· Strong understanding of video editing techniques, motion graphics, transitions, colour grading, and audio synchronization.
· Knowledge of video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios for various digital platforms.
· Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
· A portfolio demonstrating previous video editing projects is preferred. Candidate Preferences
