BIM Architect

Vikhroli, Mumbai, Maharashtra (On-Site) Company: John R Harris & Partners Position Overview John R Harris & Partners is seeking an experienced BIM Architect to join our Vikhroli office. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing BIM models, producing construction documentation, and supporting the delivery of high-quality architectural projects. Experience working on Middle East projects will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• The Architect will be responsible for delivering tasks pertaining to design projects, working with the team to complete different deliverables in compliance with the company policies and best practice standards.
• Managing design projects from Concept development, Developed Design, Technical Design & Construction documentation.
• Collaborating with UAE based design team in Head office and various co consultants and specialist consultants.
• Revit modelling, model management and content creation.
• Develop and modify detailed BIM model from CAD sketches and Sketch-Up Models. Regular model auditing and clash detections simulations.
• Modify and revise drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
• Preparation of floorplans, elevations, sections and technical details for the project. Develop and modify detailed technical drawings from design sketches, specifications, and notes.
• Preparation of final drawings documentations (Tender or Construction set)
including drawings, specifications, 3D model and CAD files.
• Preparation of the advanced technical drawing sets as part of Project Technical & Construction Documentation packages.
• Ensure design specifications align to safety standards and governmental regulations. Validate that drawings are in compliance with local building codes and industry standards. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in architecture with minimum 4-5 years work experience including experience in Middle East based projects.
• Experience of working in medium and large-scale projects in international architectural practices.
• Good technical ability with good analytical and organizational skills.
· Working knowledge of International design standards (British/American).
· Advance knowledge of Architectural tools and software inclusive of: Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photo Shop, In Design and the MS suite of programmes.
• Knowledge of Navisworks, Enscape, and twin motion will be an added advantage. Additional Information:
