Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Voice AI Designer. The Voice AI Designer will craft conversational flows, personas, and dialogue for voice-based AI experiences, ensuring interactions are natural, inclusive, and aligned with product goals. Responsibilities include researching user needs, designing conversation architectures, auditing voice AI calls, and iterating based on data and user feedback. The role also involves collaborating with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to refine voice behaviors, test prototypes, and maintain consistent tone and brand voice across experiences.



The Voice AI Designer will document design decisions, create guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of Apriori’s voice AI capabilities. Qualifications
• Experience in conversation design or UX writing for voice assistants, chatbots, or other conversational interfaces.
• Skills in user research and usability testing, with the ability to translate insights into conversational flows and behaviors.
• Robust writing and editing skills, with attention to clarity, inclusivity, tone, and error handling in dialogue.
• Ability to use design and prototyping tools commonly applied in conversational or UX design environments.
• Comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams and managing part-time schedules across multiple projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-informed iteration and continuous improvement.
• Experience designing for diverse users and a commitment to accessibility, ethical AI, and inclusive language.
