Role Description The SEO Executive Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting SMRC4 Monk’s search engine optimization and digital marketing initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, assisting with on-page optimization for websites and landing pages, and helping implement link-building strategies under guidance from senior team members. The intern will support SEO audits, prepare performance reports,



and collaborate with the content and design teams to align SEO goals with overall campaign objectives. The role also involves monitoring search trends, competitor activity, and basic social media marketing activities to improve online visibility and organic traffic. Qualifications
• Ability to conduct keyword research and analyze search intent using common SEO tools.
• Foundational understanding of on-page SEO, including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structure.
• Interest in ethical link-building practices and outreach to improve domain authority and visibility.
• Basic knowledge of SEO audits, including identifying technical and content-related issues on websites.
• Exposure to social media marketing concepts and how they support overall digital visibility.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret website and campaign performance metrics.
