The Role:We are looking for an exceptional, high-ownership, and versatile Chief Operating Officer (COO) to anchor our core executive leadership team in Pune. This role goes far beyond traditional corporate operations. We are building world-class cinematic franchises from the ground up—meaning our leadership team operates with a "startup hustle meets global studio" mindset. The ideal candidate must not only drive high-level strategic execution, finance structuring, and international partnerships, but must also possess the absolute willingness to roll up their sleeves and dive into any operational task required to ensure project success, regardless of job title boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
• Global Strategic & Financial Operations: Oversee industrial film financing strategies, co-production frameworks, corporate governance, and large-scale budgeting for international feature film projects.
• International Expansion: Manage international theatrical distribution mandates and strategic alliances across primary Asian markets (Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, etc.) as well as Western territories (US, UK, Europe, Canada).
• IP & Legal Administration: Coordinate global IP structuring, regulatory compliances, stakeholder communications, and high-value strategic partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the operational backbone for the CEO, seamlessly bridging creative development, production workflows, corporate branding, and investor relations.
• The "All-In" Mandate: Spearhead core operations with absolute flexibility—stepping up to handle any critical operational, administrative, or project-based task outside the standard scope of a COO whenever the mission demands it. What We Are Looking For (Candidate Profile):
