Role : R&D; API Fermentation

Location:
Bangalore, IN Job in a Nutshell: Engineer and optimize microbial strains using molecular biology, genome editing, strain improvement, and data-driven approaches to develop high-performing and reliable production strains.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and execution of experiments for strain screening, media engineering and process optimization.
• Raw materials chareterization studies
• Bioreactors/fermenters handling on different processes (Batch, fed-batch, Continous and perfusion)
• Indentify the critical process parameters and devise optimal feeding strategies for the enhanced prductivites in the assigned projects
• Perform strain improvement via classical methods (mutation, selection, adaptation).
• Mutants screening for the improved productivity, Prepare cell bank and maintain for QC transfer Samples prepartion of omics studies, respective data anlysis.
• Document experimental data and maintain lab records as per compliance standards.




• Work in collaboration with CFTs for timely execution of the projects and process scale-up.
• Preparation of Standard operating procedures (SOPs), Equipemt operating procedures (EOPs) and timely generation and maintenace of the quality records
• Preparation of process protocls for the pilot plant batches, compilation and analysis of the data from the experiments for better understanding and planning the scale-up activites at the manufacturing site
• Preparation and review of procvess technical report, development report, and MFR on sucessful completion of the Project
• Support to the production team in closing the CAPA, OOS, OOT and deviations
• Ensure compliance with biosafety and regulatory guidelines. Minimum

Requirements:
• Masters Degree (MSc, MTech) in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology with a ninimum of 2-3 Years of industrial experience
