Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The Senior Accountant will prepare financial statements, monitor cash flow, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure timely compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities also include overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with auditors, and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets.



The role requires close collaboration with management to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions and sustainable growth in the solar EPC business. Qualifications
• Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance in India.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; advanced skills in spreadsheets and financial modeling.
• Ability to design and maintain internal controls, support audits, and improve financial processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance and operational teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in EPC, construction, renewable energy, or related industries.
• Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a energetic environment.
