Role Description This is a full-time remote role for retired officials from the mining sector, whether from private industry or government service. The role involves providing strategic guidance on mining-related policies, regulatory frameworks, and best practices relevant to the company’s operations and customers. Daily responsibilities include advising on government and public sector procedures, interpreting regulations, supporting compliance efforts, and identifying opportunities for collaboration with mining and infrastructure entities. The individual will review market developments, offer analytical insights on industry trends, and support communication with key stakeholders.



The role also includes mentoring internal teams on navigating government processes, strengthening institutional relationships, and contributing to long-term business strategy. Qualifications
• Strong background in Government Relations and Local Government processes, with the ability to engage effectively with public authorities.
• Experience within the Public Sector or in private organizations working closely with government or mining regulatory bodies.
• Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex regulatory and policy issues in transparent, practical terms.
• Robust Analytical Skills to interpret mining sector policies, regulations, and market developments and translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Prior senior experience in the mining sector, preferably in a regulatory, administrative, or operational leadership capacity.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of road construction, mining operations, or related heavy industry supply chains is an advantage.
• Comfort with basic digital tools (email, video conferencing, document sharing) for remote coordination and reporting.
