Role Overview We’re looking for a curious, creative, and research-oriented Content Writing Intern who understands what makes content engaging and wants to learn how to create compelling educational content. You will work on long-form content, particularly YouTube video scripts, around careers, employability, professional development, and the changing world of work. We’re looking for someone who understands the basics of hooks, storytelling, audience engagement, and content retention, someone who can turn a topic into a narrative that makes people want to keep watching or reading.

Key Responsibilities
- YouTube Scriptwriting: Write and refine scripts for educational and career-focused YouTube videos.
- Hook Writing: Develop compelling opening hooks that capture attention, establish curiosity, and give viewers a reason to continue watching.
- Storytelling & Audience Retention: Structure scripts using narratives, relatable examples, open loops, and well-paced information to maintain audience interest.
- Research & Fact-Checking: Research topics using credible sources and incorporate relevant statistics, examples, case studies, and insights into scripts.
- Content Ideation: Brainstorm video topics, angles, titles, and storytelling approaches relevant to students and young professionals.
- Long-Form Content: Develop detailed explainers, articles, and educational content that simplify complex topics without losing substance.
- Content Analysis:



Study successful YouTube videos and other digital content to understand their hooks, pacing, narrative structure, and engagement techniques.
- Editing & Refinement: Review drafts for clarity, flow, accuracy, repetition, and audience relevance, incorporating feedback to improve the final output.
- AI-Assisted Research: Use AI tools to support brainstorming and research while independently verifying information and maintaining originality. What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing skills.
- Basic understanding of what makes content engaging, including hooks, curiosity gaps, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Familiarity with YouTube videos, especially educational, explainer, documentary-style, or commentary content.
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics and explain them in simple, accessible language.
- Good attention to detail, logical thinking, and a willingness to revise work based on feedback.
- Curiosity about careers, education, employability, psychology, business, or technology.
- Willingness to learn content strategy and develop writing skills through practical assignments. Good to Have
- Experience writing YouTube scripts, blog posts, articles, newsletters, or social media content.
- A writing portfolio, personal blog, published articles, or sample scripts.
- Familiarity with YouTube titles, thumbnails, viewer retention, and basic content analytics.
