Aeva Chemicals, a Mumbai-based speciality chemical company, is hiring an R&D; Formulation Chemist to develop new products and improve our existing range.
Location:
our plant and lab near Mumbai
· Full-time, in office
· Reports to the Director
What you'll do
• Develop new auxiliaries for pretreatment, dyeing, after-treatment and finishing, from lab to plant scale
• Improve AeSop, AePura, Flato, Fixura, AeKomala and Neosof for performance, cost and stability
• Build tailor-made grades for each mill's water, machines and budget
• Set product specifications and run application tests
• Support the sales team with mill trials and customer complaints
What you'll need
• M.
Sc. in Chemistry, or B.
Tech/M.
Tech in Textile Chemistry or Chemical Technology
• 4–8 years formulating textile auxiliaries
• Hands-on work with surfactants, acrylic polymers, softeners and silicone emulsions
• Experience scaling up from lab to plant
