Company Description Plugin Record is a decentralized, open music ecosystem designed for independent musicians to share tracks, build audiences, and collaborate globally. Inspired by social platforms but built specifically for music, Plugin enables artists to post tracks like photos and connect across genres and time zones. Founded in Pune, India, the platform brings together creators from cities such as Lagos, Osaka, and São Paulo. Plugin Record is driven by the belief that great sound does not require a label, only accessible technology and creative passion. The team focuses on empowering artists with tools that help them grow and manage their careers independently. Role Description This is a full-time, remote Product Manager role. The Product Manager will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of features across Plugin’s music ecosystem, from discovery and requirements gathering to launch and iteration. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining product vision and roadmap, translating user and business needs into clear specifications, and collaborating closely with design, engineering, data, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality releases. The role involves prioritizing the backlog, analyzing user behavior and product performance, conducting experiments, and using data and feedback to refine the product experience. The Product Manager will also engage with independent musicians and other stakeholders to understand their workflows, identify opportunities for current capabilities,



and ensure the product supports Plugin’s mission of empowering creators. Qualifications
• Experience in product management or a similar role, including ownership of product roadmap, feature definition, and execution.
• Strong skills in user research, requirements gathering, and translating insights into clear product specifications and workflows.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data, and marketing, to deliver product outcomes.
• Proven exprience to work with customers in signing and closing deals.
• Proven expertise in owning GTM strategy of Plugin suite of offerings. Building and testing product features from scratch and taking to market.
• Ability to address pressing, show stopping customer defects and getting them triaged promptly.
• Comfort with data analysis, experimentation, and using metrics to guide decisions and measure product impact.
• Background or interest in music, creator platforms, or digital media products, with empathy for independent artists and creative communities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to align diverse perspectives around a product vision.
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams, with strong self-management, collaboration, and organization skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Business, Engineering, Design, or Communications) or equivalent practical experience.
