Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Tamil Insurance Advisor at Ditto Insurance. The Tamil Insurance Advisor will guide customers through various insurance products, explain policy details in clear Tamil and English, and help them choose suitable coverage based on their needs and financial situation. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer queries via calls, chats, and emails, clarifying complex insurance terms, and offering unbiased advice. The role involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, and staying updated on insurance and finance trends. The advisor is expected to deliver empathetic, non-salesy support while meeting quality and service standards. What this means in practice:
• Inbound, not outbound : You speak to people who book appointments / reach out. So no cold calls.
• Advice First : Your default job is to understand needs, explain trade-offs, and recommend what's right.
• Closing is part of the job : If the customer should buy, you'll guide them through plan selection and purchase.
• No Spam : We don't badger customers into buying.
• Time to do it well : Consultations are designed to be thoughtful, not rushed. Who We’re Looking For:
