Chembur, Mumbai Department: Academics Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and creative Music Teacher to teach students across different grades, develop their musical skills, and prepare them for school events, cultural programmes, competitions, and performances.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate music lessons for students across various grades. Teach vocal and/or instrumental music, depending on expertise and school requirements. Develop students’ understanding of music theory, rhythm, melody, and basic musical concepts. Prepare students for Annual Day, school assemblies, cultural celebrations, competitions, and other school events. Train students for solo performances, group singing, choir, and musical presentations. Identify and nurture students’ musical talents and encourage participation in co-curricular activities.



Maintain discipline during music classes and ensure the proper use and care of musical instruments. Coordinate with teachers and the academic team to organise school programmes and performances. Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their musical abilities. Participate in school events, meetings, and other academic and co-curricular activities. Educational Qualification Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music, or a relevant diploma/certification from a recognised institution. Formal training in Indian Classical, Western, Vocal, or Instrumental Music will be an advantage. Experience 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience in a school or educational institution is preferred. Candidates with robust musical skills and experience in training students for performances may also be considered.
