About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Food Technologist with hands-on expertise in flavour applications, food formulations and product development. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent formulation skills and the ability to develop commercially viable food and beverage applications.

Key Responsibilities
• Apply flavours across multiple food and beverage categories, including beverages, dairy, bakery, confectionery, savoury products and snacks.
• Conduct product trials, formulation studies and flavour application testing to determine optimal dosage, performance and compatibility.
• Develop food and beverage products and coordinate with the Flavourist for evaluation, followed by the Directors for tasting and final approval.
• Collaborate with Flavourists, R&D; and Sales teams to understand client briefs and develop customised flavour solutions.
• Conduct bench trials and support product scale-up and commercialisation of successful applications.




• Troubleshoot formulation challenges, flavour stability and ingredient compatibility issues.
• Maintain accurate application records, trial reports and product development documentation.
• Stay updated on emerging food trends, ingredients, processing technologies and application techniques. Candidate Profile

Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in food product development and flavour applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in flavour applications across multiple food and beverage categories.
• Good understanding of food ingredients, formulations, processing techniques and flavour interactions.
• Knowledge of flavour assessment, including the ability to identify and differentiate taste and aroma profiles, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to independently conduct trials, analyse results and recommend formulation improvements.
• Excellent documentation, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with a flavour house, food ingredient company or food manufacturing/R&D; workplace will be preferred. Reporting To
