Role Description The Estimation Engineer role at Hekur India is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for civil and architectural projects, including quantities, materials, labor, and time requirements. Daily tasks include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing and updating BOQs, coordinating with project and site teams, and analyzing vendor and subcontractor quotations. The role also involves conducting market research on materials and rates, supporting negotiations with suppliers, and contributing to cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.



The Estimation Engineer will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and management teams to ensure accurate and competitive project proposals. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong BOQ preparation and Project Estimation skills.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering and understanding of construction materials and methods.
• Candidates should possess effective Negotiation skills for vendor and subcontractor interactions.
• Candidates should possess Research skills for analyzing market rates, materials, and industry trends.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in estimation for building or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel or similar tools.
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
