Role Description The Owner of the Placement Cell at Hansraj College will provide strategic leadership to all placement-related activities and ensure effective coordination between students, faculty conveners, and recruiters. This full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India involves overseeing planning and execution of recruitment drives, managing employer relationships, and expanding the recruiter network across diverse industries. The role includes supervising student teams, setting annual placement targets, monitoring progress, and ensuring transparent and efficient processes for applications, shortlisting, and selection.



The Owner will collaborate with academic departments to align placement initiatives with curriculum and student career aspirations, and will support workshops, training sessions, and outreach events to enhance student employability. Regular reporting to college administration, data analysis of placement outcomes, and continuous improvement of systems and communication channels are key components of the day-to-day responsibilities. Qualifications
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder coordination skills to guide student members and collaborate effectively with faculty and recruiters.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities to maintain and grow corporate partnerships and represent the Placement Cell professionally.
• Solid organizational, planning, and project management skills to design, schedule, and execute multiple recruitment drives and career initiatives concurrently.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret placement data, identify trends, and implement improvements in processes and student support.
• Comfort with documentation, reporting, and use of digital tools (spreadsheets, communication platforms, basic CRM or databases) for efficient operations.
• Prior experience in campus placement, career services, corporate hiring, or related domains is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with the Indian higher education landscape and recruitment practices, particularly within Delhi University or comparable institutions, is an advantage.
