Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Project Manager with solid expertise in managing engineering projects and programs within the Aerospace domain. The role requires hands-on experience in project planning, scheduling, cost monitoring, project governance, stakeholder management and operational execution. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Project and have experience building management dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving projects against defined time, cost and scope requirements, while coordinating effectively with engineering teams, supply chain, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and lead engineering projects/programs to meet defined schedule, cost and scope requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans using Microsoft Project.
• Track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, and overall execution.
• Monitor and control project cost and schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and drive an appropriate project/program governance strategy.
• Develop and maintain project management dashboards and management reports using tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Apply awareness of Earned Value Management (EVM) for project monitoring and control.
• Collaborate effectively with all relevant project stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering and operational teams to achieve project objectives.
• Support the Supply Chain team in meeting project procurement targets.
• Support and participate in customer meetings and internal project reviews.
• Ensure project activities are aligned with applicable Aerospace standards, procedures and protocols based on customer requirements.
• Drive the day-to-day operational execution of assigned projects/programs.
• Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders and support timely resolution of project execution challenges. Required Skills & Experience Candidates should have:
• 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in Engineering Project Management / Program Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project (MS Project) for project planning and scheduling.
• Experience in creating project dashboards and reports.
• Proficiency or hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Understanding/awareness of Earned Value Management (EVM).
