About The Role
- Video Editor At Scaler We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our Marketing and Social Media team. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in video editing and will play a crucial role in telling engaging visual stories, and shall play a vital role in the team from conceptualization to final output. This role requires a creative mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members to share and develop ideas. Preferred Experience
• 1 to 4 years of demonstrated experience in impact roles at a B2C startup, leading brand/creative agency or digital-first creative production house
• Good understanding of storytelling; should be abreast with different digital video formats;
• Experience working on YouTube Videos, YT and Meta Ads and/or Digital Video Ads
• Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial venture in the education space is not compulsory but would be a big plus

Key Responsibilities
• Craft Visual Stories: Edit and assemble raw footage into engaging video snippets that capture the essence of our brand across various platforms.
• Collaborative Creation: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, conceptualize, and develop video content that meets our strategic goals.
• Enhance with Flair: Incorporate graphics, text, music, and effects to elevate the narrative quality of our videos.




• Innovate and Inspire: Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate cutting-edge techniques to keep our content fresh and compelling.
• Consistency is Key: Ensure all video content adheres to our brand guidelines and maintains the highest quality standards.
• Organize and Optimize: Manage and streamline our video library for efficient access and retrieval.
• Share and Develop Ideas: Actively participate in creative sessions, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
• Meet the Deadline: Work efficiently within project timelines to deliver timely, high-quality video content.
• Platform Proficiency: Adapt and optimize videos for different social media platforms, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
