About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Hardware Engineer to join our team designing the Power electronics and signal conditioning circuits at the heart of SolarEdge’s advanced energy storage products. This is a hands-on design role for an engineer with deep, real-world experience in the disciplines of converter design, signal conditioning circuits, grounding, EMI, robust communication, accurate sensing and measurement — and in how these are verified at the board and full-system level. What You’ll Be Doing
• Designing Embedded Electronics Hardware for Battery Management Systems under the guidance of Senior engineers, from concept through mass production for Battery energy storage products.
• Designing Power electronics converter circuits for Battery Energy storage products.
• Designing accurate measurements, robust communication, grounding, and power distribution — at both board and system level.
• Supporting verification and characterization of designs, on the bench and within the complete system.
• Participating in design reviews and growing your technical craft.
• Working in a multidisciplinary environment and collaborating across departments and sites. Requirements

Tech. in Electrical, Electronics Or related Engineering Streams. Masters/PhD is Preferred.




• 3+ years of hands-on Power electronics HW design and Signal conditioning circuits, taken to mass production.
• Solid foundation in analog measurement and understanding of accuracy, error sources, calibration.
• Understanding of designing protection circuits (overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuit).
• Basic Knowledge of power electronics and DC-DC converters (Buck, Boost, Flyback, Forward).
• Familiarity in simulation tools such as LTspice, PSpice, or PSIM.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and lab bring-up skills, with a systematic verification mindset.
• Basic understanding of grounding, return-path, and power-distribution design.
• Familiarity with communication links (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, differential).
• Robust command of AI tools and a demonstrated ability to leverage them to accelerate engineering work — analysis, documentation, scripting, and debugging.
• Good documentation Habits. Advantageous Qualifications
• Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) or energy storage technologies (Li-Ion, Solid State, etc.).
• Understanding of thermal management in electronic designs.
