About the role

You will run day-to-day AWS operations for a leading RBI-regulated NBFC under Bootlabs' 247 managed services engagement. You handle service requests, deployments, alerts and incidents across a large AWS estate (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, ALB/NLB), resolve most issues at L2, and escalate to the L3 engineer with clear diagnosis when needed.

Key responsibilities

- Operate and troubleshoot EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, ALB/NLB, ElastiCache and related AWS services.
- Handle service requests within SLA: IAM CRUD for users, roles and service accounts; security group changes; resource provisioning on approved requests.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines: run deployments, rollbacks and release support; onboard applications to existing pipeline templates.
- Triage CloudWatch alerts and incidents; resolve at L2 or escalate to L3 with logs, timeline and initial analysis.
- Execute OS and infra-layer patching in planned maintenance windows and support vulnerability remediation.
- Perform backup checks, point-in-time restores and infra-side DR drill steps under L3 guidance.




- Make Terraform changes using existing modules and raise them through code review.
- Write and maintain runbooks; contribute to daily and weekly operational reports.
- Work rotational shifts and take part in the on-call roster.

Must-have skills

- 46 years in cloud operations/DevOps, with 2+ years hands-on in production AWS.
- Working knowledge of EC2, EKS/Kubernetes (kubectl, deployments, pods, logs), Lambda, RDS, S3, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch.
- IAM basics (policies, roles, trust relationships) and VPC basics (subnets, route tables, security groups).
- CI/CD experience on Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps.
- Terraform working knowledge (plan/apply, modules, state basics).
- Scripting in Bash and Python.
- Linux administration and troubleshooting.

Positive to have

- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Solutions Architect – Associate, or CKA.
- Experience in BFSI/NBFC or regulated environments.
- Exposure to Azure or GCP.

ITSM tooling (ServiceNow, Freshservice or Jira Service Management).
