Role & responsibilities

- Ensure smooth and efficient billing operations, with accurate billing and timely payments in line with hospital policies, tariffs and processes, while maintaining robust coordination across teams.
- Ensure accurate, timely and compliant OP/IP billing with minimal errors and revenue leakage.
- Monitor day-to-day billing operations, shift-wise performance, estimations, deposits, collections and outstanding dues.
- Ensure 100% capture of services/procedures, correct tariff application and timely bill updates through discharge.
- Drive Discharge TAT, Estimation TAT and timely submission of TPA/Corporate bills.
- Manage TPA & Corporate billing, MOU/tariff management, renewals and tariff revisions.
- Handle patient/attendant queries, escalations, payment counselling and billing-related complaints effectively.




- Ensure seamless coordination with Consultants, Nursing, Operations, Finance, Insurance/TPA and Corporate teams.
- Ensure audit-ready documentation, policy adherence and effective control over billing processes.
- Lead, guide and train the billing team to ensure productivity, accuracy, quality and process adherence.
- Monitor billing revenue, collections and outstanding ageing, identifying gaps and corrective actions.
- Provide daily MIS and billing performance reports to management with actionable insight
