Job Description: Accountant – Pharmaceutical IndustryJob SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, handling purchase and sales transactions, GST-related activities, invoicing, and ensuring accurate financial documentation.

- Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle purchase and sales entries, including pharmaceutical products and stock-related transactions.
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Handle GST calculations, GST returns, and related documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash and bank records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with customers and suppliers for payment follow-ups.
- Maintain ledger accounts and verify financial transactions.
- Maintain proper records of pharmaceutical purchases, sales, inventory, and stock movements.




- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and accounting reports.
- Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and auditors whenever required.
- Job RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Candidates from the Pharmaceutical / Pharma industry are preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of accounting principles and day-to-day accounting operations.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
- Experience handling purchase, sales, inventory, and ledger entries.
- Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to maintain financial records.
- Ability to work independently and manage accounting responsibilities efficiently.

Preferred CandidateCandidates with prior experience in pharmaceutical companies, medicine distribution, pharma trading, or pharmaceutical manufacturing will be preferred.
