Role & Responsibilities English Teacher (Grades 6 to 10)

- Teach English grammar, literature, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills according to the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching materials.
- Develop students vocabulary, communication skills, comprehension, and creative writing abilities.
- Prepare question papers, answer keys, and conduct assessments.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide remedial support.
- Prepare students for examinations through revision and practice.
- Encourage reading habits, public speaking, and classroom participation.
- Maintain student records, marks, and academic documentation.
- Complete syllabus and assigned academic duties within deadlines.





Preferred Candidate Profile – English Teacher (Grades 6 to 10)

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English with B.Ed. preferred.
- Robust command of English grammar, literature, reading, and writing skills.
- Relevant teaching experience in Grades 6 to 10 preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to develop students’ vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, assessment, and student evaluation.
- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and academic documentation.
