Reporting To: Area Manager / City Operations Manager

1. Job SummaryThe Hub In-Charge is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a delivery hub, ensuring timely shipment processing, rider coordination, manpower management, delivery performance, and smooth hub operations while meeting operational KPIs, SLAs and customer service standards.

- 2. Key ResponsibilitiesHub Operations: Manage daily hub activities, including shipment receiving, scanning, sorting, dispatch and return processing.
- Last-Mile Delivery: Ensure timely allocation and dispatch of shipments to delivery riders and monitor delivery performance.
- Rider Management: Coordinate rider availability, attendance, productivity, hiring requirements and rider retention.
- Team Management: Supervise hub staff, team leaders, associates and delivery personnel.
- Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs such as delivery TAT, productivity, first-attempt delivery, pending shipments, attendance and SLA adherence.
- Inventory & Shipment Control: Maintain shipment accuracy, reconciliation, proper scanning and control of undelivered or misrouted shipments.
- Customer & Escalation Management:



Resolve delivery-related issues, customer complaints and operational escalations.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety standards, cash handling procedures (where applicable) and company policies.
- Reporting: Prepare daily MIS reports, productivity reports, attendance reports and operational performance updates.
- Coordination: Work closely with central operations, city teams, transport, recruitment and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.

- 4. Candidate RequirementsExperience: Typically 2–5 years in logistics, last-mile delivery, courier, e-commerce, quick commerce or warehouse operations. Adjust according to your hiring level.
- Education: Graduate preferred; relevant operational experience may be considered.
- Preferred Background: E-commerce logistics, 3PL, courier companies, quick commerce or delivery hub operations.
