Role Description The Wood Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for overseeing daily woodwork and carpentry activities at project locations. This role includes supervising installation of wooden doors, hardware, and interior wood elements, ensuring work meets design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

The Wood Site

Supervisor coordinates with project managers, carpenters, vendors, and clients to manage schedules, materials, and site resources efficiently. Typical tasks involve monitoring progress, resolving on-site issues, checking measurements and finishes, and documenting work completed. The role also involves conducting site inspections,



enforcing safety protocols, and reporting status updates to management.

Qualifications

- Experience supervising woodwork or carpentry activities at construction or interior sites, with strong knowledge of wooden doors, hardware, and interior wood finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and project specifications, and translate them into clear instructions for site teams.
- Strong site management skills, including task planning, time management, resource allocation, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of safety standards, quality control practices, and basic tools and equipment used in wood and carpentry work.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with clients, contractors, and team members in a skilled manner.
- Proven ability to solve on-site problems, make practical decisions, and maintain composure in fast-paced environments.
- Minimum of a diploma or certification in civil, interior, carpentry, or related field; relevant site supervisory experience can substitute for formal education where appropriate.
- Comfort working on-site in Ahmedabad and willingness to visit multiple project locations as required.
