Role Description The Windchill PTC Migration Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. This role is responsible for designing and leading end-to-end migration strategies for PTC Windchill environments, including data, configurations, and customizations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing existing PLM landscapes, defining target architectures, planning migration waves, and overseeing implementation activities with development and integration teams.

The role involves creating detailed technical designs, coordinating with stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring that migration projects align with performance, security, and compliance requirements. The architect will also provide guidance on best practices,



support testing and validation, and troubleshoot complex issues during migration and post-go-live stabilization.

Qualifications

- Lead the architecture and execution of large-scale Windchill migration and transformation programs.
- Define migration strategies, architecture roadmaps, data conversion frameworks, and deployment approaches.
- Assess legacy PLM/PDM systems and design migration solutions to PTC Windchill.
- Architect data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading processes.
- Lead migration of Parts, CAD Documents, WTDocuments, BOMs, Product Structures, Classifications, AML/AVL, and Change Objects.

- Your Role
- 10-18 years of experience in PLM implementations, upgrades, and migration programs.
- Strong expertise in PTC Windchill PDMLink, Product Structure Management, Change Management, Document Management, Classification, and Workflow.
- Proven experience architecting Windchill migration, consolidation, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
- Hands-on experience migrating data from Teamcenter, ENOVIA, Agile PLM, SAP PLM, SmarTeam, or legacy repositories.
- Strong understanding of engineering data management, BOMs, product configurations, and lifecycle processes.
