Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a VMC Operator based in Ganaur. The VMC Operator will set up and operate Vertical Machining Centers, interpret technical drawings and CNC programs, and ensure components are produced to specification. Day-to-day tasks include machine setup, tool selection and offset adjustments, loading and unloading materials, monitoring machine operations, and performing in-process quality checks using measuring instruments.

The role also involves basic machine maintenance, reporting issues to supervisors, maintaining production records, and following safety and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications





- Practical experience operating VMC or CNC milling machines in a manufacturing or machining environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and basic CNC programs.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection instruments.
- Knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, speeds and feeds, and material handling for metals and plastics.
- Attention to detail with a focus on dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and consistent quality output.
- Understanding of workplace safety practices, machine guarding, PPE usage, and safe material handling.
- Capability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and manage repetitive production tasks efficiently.
- Basic education in mechanical, fitter, machinist, or relevant trade (ITI/Diploma preferred) or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, quality teams, and colleagues on the shop floor.
- Willingness to learn, adapt to new processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives in production.
