Role Description The Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Tiruppur, responsible for producing engaging video content that showcases robotics classes, student projects, and educational materials. The role includes editing raw footage into polished videos, adding motion graphics and titles, performing color correction and grading, and ensuring audio quality.

The Video

Editor will collaborate with instructors and the marketing team to plan shoots, create visual assets for social media and campaigns, and maintain a consistent brand style across all video outputs.



Day-to-day tasks involve organizing media, selecting takes, creating short-form and long-form content, and optimizing videos for various platforms. This role also contributes creative ideas to improve storytelling, learner engagement, and the overall visual identity of Hold Space.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production to handle end-to-end creation of educational and promotional content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to maintain visual consistency and enhance the look and feel of all footage.
- Ability to create Motion Graphics and Graphics for intros, lower thirds, explainer elements, and social media assets.
- Experience with industry-standard editing and design software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, or equivalents).
- Valuable understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual communication, particularly for educational or youth-focused content.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to work closely with instructors, marketing, and operations teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in edtech or education content is a plus.
