Role Description The Video Director role at TransCurators is a full-time, in office position based in Delhi, India.

The Video

Director will lead the end-to-end creative and production process for digital video content, from concept development and storyboarding to directing shoots and overseeing post-production. This role involves collaborating closely with writers, designers, animators, and subject matter experts to create compelling brand videos, training modules, and marketing assets.

Director will manage production schedules, coordinate with internal and external production teams,



ensure adherence to brand and quality standards, and optimize video outputs for multiple digital platforms. The role also includes reviewing edits, providing clear creative feedback, and continuously refining visual storytelling approaches to meet client objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Direction and Film Production, with experience leading creative vision and on-set execution.
- Hands-on expertise in Video Production and Digital Video workflows, including planning, shooting, and managing production resources.
- Proficiency in Video Editing, with the ability to guide editors on pacing, narrative structure, and visual style.
- Experience creating content for digital platforms, including social media, e-learning, and marketing campaigns.
- Ability to translate client briefs into clear visual concepts, storyboards, and production plans.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional creative and technical teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communication, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Prior experience in a production house, agency, or digital content company is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with industry-standard cameras, lighting setups, and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar) is an advantage.
