Role Overview

Responsible for leading end-to-end development and execution of vehicle customisation programs, special editions, limited-production vehicles, and bespoke automotive projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, project management capabilities, and an understanding of vehicle engineering, manufacturing, and supplier development.

The candidate will work closely with Design, R&D;, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and external partners to translate creative concepts into production-ready vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead vehicle customisation projects, special editions, limited-production variants, and bespoke customer requirements.
- Manage end-to-end project execution from concept development, feasibility assessment, prototyping, validation, and production.
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to develop unique vehicle configurations, bodywork, finishes, components, and accessories.
- Identify and develop specialised suppliers for custom fabrication, composite materials, machining, surface treatments, and low-volume manufacturing.
- Drive technical feasibility, engineering integration, and manufacturability of custom vehicle components.
- Manage project budgets, component costing, tooling investments, and commercial viability.
- Coordinate vehicle-level integration, prototype builds, testing, homologation requirements, and quality validation.
- Develop scalable processes for low-volume manufacturing, vehicle personalisation, and special projects.
- Ensure timely project delivery through effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Explore innovative materials, manufacturing technologies,



and customisation opportunities to enhance product differentiation.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 12–15 years of experience in automotive product development, vehicle engineering, special projects, or program management.
- Preferred background in automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, vehicle customisation, or performance automotive engineering.
- Strong understanding of vehicle architecture, component integration, fabrication, manufacturing processes, and materials.
- Experience in prototype development, low-volume production, supplier development, and engineering validation.
- Knowledge of automotive quality systems, regulatory requirements, and vehicle homologation processes.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex development programs.
