DataMatrix has been in business since 1985 and supports 100+ speciality medical practices across the United States with revenue cycle management. We're growing our billing team and looking for a hands-on supervisor who has done the full billing cycle for US practices, not just read about it.

Job Expectations

- Charge entry: accurate entry using approved codes, modifiers and encounter information
- Payment posting: insurance and patient payments, EOB/ERA interpretation, adjustments, and catching posting errors
- Claim submission: making sure claims are clean and complete, submitting them, and resolving rejections
- A/R follow-up: finding out why a claim hasn't been paid, checking status, documenting follow-up and driving the next step
- Denials: understanding the reason, researching it and getting the correction made
- Appeals and reconsiderations: preparing and following up on routine appeals and records requests
- Reconciliation: cash, checks, card payments and posting batches, and finding out why something doesn't balance
- Missing charges: matching appointments and encounters against posted charges and following up on gaps
- Reports: running and reading charge, payment, A/R and reconciliation reports, and using them to work accounts
- Patient and insurance data:



spotting and correcting missing or inaccurate demographics and coverage
- Account notes: researching account history and leaving transparent, complete notes

What Skills are Expected

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in US medical billing, across all of the above
- Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10 and modifiers, and the judgment to know when to escalate a question to the billing manager
- Experience with practice management and billing software, and with payer portals
- Experience supervising or guiding a billing team
- Clear written English and strong attention to detail

Compensation: ₹6–9 Lakhs PA, based on experience. Higher for exceptional candidates with proven end-to-end billing expertise.

Work setup: fully remote, on secure cloud workspaces. [Shift: US hours / EST/PST (Depending on the Client assigned)]
