Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra (near Mumbai) for an Assistant Manager / Production Manager in API and enzyme manufacturing. The role involves overseeing day-to-day production activities, planning and scheduling batches, and ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards in an API and enzyme facility. The person will coordinate with cross-functional teams such as quality assurance, quality control, maintenance, and supply chain to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include supervising production staff, monitoring process parameters, optimizing yields,



troubleshooting production issues, and maintaining accurate documentation and reports. The role also includes supporting audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing to capacity expansion and efficiency enhancement.

Qualifications

- Talent acquisition and workforce management skills, including Hiring and Recruiting, to build and maintain a capable production team.
- Strong Communication skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, external partners, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Experience in Training and developing production staff, including conducting skill-building sessions and ensuring adherence to SOPs.
- Focus on Service Quality and operational excellence, with the ability to enforce quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in API and/or enzyme manufacturing, preferably in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
- Sound understanding of GMP, safety norms, and regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and supervisory skills, with the ability to work in a quick-paced, production-driven environment.
