About the Role
S-CCI India Private Limited, an established Indo-Japanese joint venture in the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Technical Lead to spearhead the integration of our proprietary digital platforms with the WhatsApp Business Platform.
The selected candidate will work closely with our existing software development team to transition mobile application functionalities into seamless WhatsApp-based user experiences.
This position offers an opportunity to lead the technical development and nationwide deployment of an innovative digital platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead integration with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Cloud API.
Design and implement WhatsApp Flows, interactive messaging and automated workflows.
Integrate WhatsApp with existing backend systems using REST APIs and webhooks.
Implement user authentication and secure transaction processing.
Integrate digital wallets, payment systems and accounting platforms.
Coordinate with external technology providers.
Ensure system scalability, reliability, security and performance.
Lead implementation, testing, deployment and technical documentation.
Essential Qualifications
6–10 years of relevant software development experience.
Proven hands-on experience with Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, WhatsApp Flows and webhooks.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and backend technologies.
Experience with REST APIs, databases and third-party integrations.
Knowledge of authentication, cybersecurity and secure transaction processing.
Experience developing and deploying production-grade applications.
Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical integrations.
Preferred Experience
Integration of WhatsApp with enterprise applications.
QR-code scanning and verification systems.
Digital wallets, payment gateways or financial transaction platforms.
ERP or accounting software integrations.
- Experience working with WhatsApp Business Solution Providers.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a technically strong professional who can take ownership of the project from architecture through implementation.
This is a hands-on technical leadership position, not a WhatsApp marketing or campaign management role.
