Laurel High Global School invites applications from qualified, skilled, and enthusiastic Swimming Coaches to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated qualified who can provide structured, age-appropriate swimming instruction, build students’ water confidence, improve their swimming techniques and physical fitness, and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment. The selected candidate will be expected to follow the school’s safety protocols, child-safeguarding policies, and professional standards while helping students develop a lifelong interest in swimming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and conduct swimming lessons according to students’ age, ability, and skill levels.
- Teach water confidence, floating, breathing techniques, kicking, and recognised swimming strokes.
- Prepare structured lesson plans and assess students’ progress regularly.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, skill assessments, and swimming batch records.
- Coordinate with the female swimming coach to maintain consistent teaching standards and lesson delivery.
- Inspect the swimming area and equipment before each session and promptly report any hazards or safety concerns.
- Follow all school safety guidelines, child-protection policies, professional-conduct standards, and student handover procedures.
- Ensure appropriate supervision of students throughout swimming sessions.
- Support school swimming events, competitions, and other related activities.
- Encourage discipline, teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship among students.

Qualifications:

- A qualification in sports,



physical education, or a related field will be an added advantage.
- A swimming coaching qualification or diploma from the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (NSNIS), or an equivalent recognised institution is preferred.
- A recognised swimming instructor certificate may be considered for candidates applying for beginner-level instruction, subject to applicable requirements.
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated swimming proficiency and successful completion of a practical skills assessment are mandatory before appointment.

Experience:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching swimming to children is preferred.
- Candidates with recognised coaching qualifications and strong practical swimming skills may also be considered.
